東京ドームの約43倍、500エーカーのキャンパスには、63の建物があり、1,000人以上の学生が寮で生活している。
ロケーション
ソルトレークシティーから約35マイル（56ｋｍ）北、車で約40分のOgdenという人口約15万人の町にある州立大学。2002年冬季オリンピックが開催された地域で、世界基準のスキーリゾートまで車で約15分の距離。四季があり、夏は暖かい。車で数時間圏内に、60もの国立公園や州立公園があり、キャンピング、マウンテンバイキングやハイキングなどのアウトドアが満喫できる。

アメリカを選んだのはやはり自由の国ということもあり、学校の方針や人々が自由なところが自分の性格に合っているなと思ったから。また、大学の数も膨大であり、一度入学しても単位が移行できる編入制度があるところもいいなと思った。大学選びは正直行ってみないとわからないところがあるけど、私は色々な大学を比較した上で、直感を信じて選びました。
