英語コース（Intensive English Program）
エルジンコミュニティカレッジの付属英語コースでは、秋学期と春学期をそれぞれ3sessionに分ける珍しい学期制度を採用しています。そのため、1,2,3,6,8,9,10月の年7回入学タイミングがあり便利です。付属英語コースを修了した人は、学部課程の授業3単位分を州内学生費用相当分の授業料免除で履修することができます（ESL Waiver）。

滞在方法
学校運営のホームステイプログラムがあります。学校運営のため、人気都市エルジンエリアでありながら格安で滞在可能です。ホームステイ滞在では、同じ部屋に別の留学生も一緒に滞在する可能性があります。留学開始時にシカゴオヘア国際空港（$50）とシカゴミッドウェイ国際空港（$75）からの空港出迎えを希望することも可能です。シカゴは、大規模空港が2つもある点も魅力の1つとなっており、特にシカゴオヘア国際空港はニューヨークやロサンゼルスなど大都市の国際空港より規模が大きく便利です。ホームステイの申込は、学期開始の60日前までに行う必要があります。
ホームステイ先と学校キャンパスの間の移動の送迎を付けられるプランもあります。送迎プランは、アメリカの中でも極めて珍しいです。送迎プランには、なんと毎週のスーパーマーケットへの送迎も含まれます。
