ナッシュビルから車で約2時間、メンフィスから車で約3時間、セントルイスから車で3時間半の田舎町にある4年制州立大学。118もの学士号、修士号プログラムがあり、また、留学生むけの英語プログラムもある。150以上のクラブがある。
スポーツにも力を入れており、NCAA Division I。留学生獲得に積極的で、大学付属の語学コースではとてもリーズナブルに学ぶことができる。日本人留学生はとても少ない。
